Is the new aluminium unibody macbook worth $ 1,299?

I am looking into selling my currently owned white 2.4 ghz, 2gb RAM, 160 GB hard drive macbook and planning to get the newly designed unibody aluminum macbook - 2.0 ghz one. Is it worth the money? Please reply if any one has recently purchased the new macbook. Thanks.

Why would you spend money to get a slower machine???? No, it's not worth it really. If yours is perfectly functioning there is no reason to upgrade unless you really don't care about wasting money. Also, there are issues with the new unibody macbooks and macbook pros. A lot of warped lids, loose battery covers, dead pixels, dents and scratches right out of the box. I had to return three brand new macbook pro's b/c of warped lids and faulty optical drives.
