How much of a performance loss is there when you do a dual boot (mac and Win) OS's on a MAC with Windows?

I am thinking about going back to Apple since you can do a dual boot, but I am concerned about the performance loss with my Win apps . And how much of an issue is it to switch back and forth between OS's?

If you wanna multi-task, skip the Apple and go with a current Quad-Core processor PC. Ill guarantee they will smoke anything Apple currently has.
