My Intel 8 core Mac Tower (the Jan '08 Model) crashes so randomly about 2-3 times a day. Am I doing something wrong? Apple support on the phone said "Hmm, not sure why" and recommended I take it to an Apple store. Here is my setup and what I do almost daily: System: 10G of RAM, 320G main HD, 1TB internal additional HD. What I do daily: Edit and convert video (DIVX format). Use Firefox browser (which always seems to crash when I use Myspace). Download and upload files. I just bought 8G of ram and thought that would solve my crash problem, but it is consistent. I did an Apple hardware test and it came out FINE. Any clues?
