I have an Inspiron 1420, but it was bought without a camera. I'm wondering if it would be possible to install.?

The computer is an Inspiron 1420 laptop, White, but it doesn't have a port for the camera, or even a camera. I'm wondering if I was able to get the bezel, which I've found on ebay, that has the camera port, if I'd be able to just buy the camera and install it. Would I need bios for it? Would my laptop have the internal stuff to do that, etc? Thanks, in advance for all of your answers.
