Which Mac Laptop should I get... Pro or Regular?

Okay, so here's the deal. In 8 weeks, I get a MacBook for good grades. I get $1099.00 for the base config. I can pay for any upgrades I want, and I'll have about $650, giving me a grand total of..... $1750. I will either get a MB with the 13in screen, 250gb HDD, 2.4 GHz, 2gb RAM, and the remote, for around $1500, or I'll gt the 2.4GHz Pro with a 250 HDD, 2gb RAM, 256mb graphics memory, and a glossy 15in (HD) screen, backlit keyboard, sexier finish, and multitouch trackpad for $1800+. I get the Education discount, so that's why the prices are a bit lower. I'll be using it for just about everything, and wanted to know everybody's opinion. I have estimated the costs here, but if I get the Pro and a case for it, I'll be around $100 in the hole, but can probably borrow. Also, I'd appreciate it if you think this Pro would be good enough for a college video editing course in 4-7 years..

Bite the bullet and go with the MBP - you will still appriciate the power in 2-3 years
