Why is my 'SHARP' Projector not displaying the complete screen picture of the PC?

I am using a 'SHARP' company projector with my desk top PC, but it is not displaying the complete picture on the screen. I am sure it has nothing to do with physical adjustments as I have allready tried every possibility. In addition when i move the mouse towards the portion of the screen not being displayed it come on the display and the portion on the opposite side goes out of display. The same problem is occuring even while displaying the desktop only.

Your on-screen resolution on your PC's display is higher than the projector can display. I guess you've got a 1024x768 display on your monitor and the projector can only handle 800x600... so the video card is showing an 800x600 window of your monitor on the projector.

Drop your PC's resolution to the sme resolution as the Sharp projector while you are using the projector. Problem will go away (but you will lose screen resolution on your PC). Or get your company to buy a higher resolution projector.
