IVOEM

if i change to a different motherboard,can i reuse my windows xp home oem license and key?

i will reuse the same cpu ,just upgrading to newer motherboard and hard drive.this is a custom built pc

You may have to call Microsofts activation line

You can just tell them that you upgraded a couple of parts in your system and they will reactivate it for you

The reason it can be an issue is because they use a hardware id when activating
