Secured wireless internet works on desktop not laptop?

Just got new AT&T internet, wireless connection,the internet works for the desktop because that is what the router is connected to but when you type the key and get in it says connected but my internet doesn't work!? Browser says cannot display webpage, internet not connected. Please Help!

Hi there,

Do a power cycle should work. Off modem and router from wall socket, wait for 1 min before you power on the modem. When lights on modem gets stable, power on the router. Reboot your PC and see if you could surf.
