Mac OS X 10.5.x (Leopard) includes Boot Camp utility to allow running Windows XP or Vista on Intel-based Mac computer systems in dual boot configuration. When Windows is first attempted to install on Mac computers, through the application’s help users can carry out non-destructive hard disk repartitioning or resizing (if required). How to remove Vista from dual boot machine and install Windows 7?

I have dual boot Laptop with Linux (debian lenny) and Vista Home basic (64bit).....I want to remove Vista and install Windows 7 instead. So basically I want Debian + Win7 . I found that you have to remove both OSs and you have to install windows first and Linux later. But is there anything so that I dont have to remove my Linux

Install Windows 7 on the Windows Vista partition of the hard-drive.

If you want to keep all your settings, programs, and files, then put in the Windows 7 Setup DVD after you boot into Windows Vista and select "Upgrade".

If you want a fresh ("clean") install of Windows 7 where there's no old files, programs, settings, then put in the Windows 7 DVD right when you turn on your computer before it gets to the dual-boot screen.

IMPORTANT: Make absolute sure that you install 7 on Vista's partition of your hard-drive.

EDIT: I don't know what Danielle is talking about. A lot of people do and just about any computer can be made into dual-boot computer.
