how do i play music from laptop through bluetooth device?

hello i recently purchased a Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP AVRCP Stereo Music Receiver from deal extreme. I was wondering if anyone knows how to link it up to a laptop. I have the device plugged into my stereo and i can play music from my phone throught the device so it comes out my stereo speakers but i don't know how to do this with my laptop. I know you can because on the box there is a picture of the device being used with a laptop. please help

You need to enable your laptop to "discover" new bluetooth devices within range.

I can only speak for a Mac laptop, you can go to your System Preferences>Hardware>Bluetooth
And enable the "discoverable" feature. Any bluetooth device that is on within range will automatically show up on your laptop.

I do apologize for not being able to troubleshoot this on a PC.
