For the first time, i have been impressed with the LG C1 notebook Tablet PC convertible. I didn't buy it, but i used it for a couple of months because my friend had to travel without taking it with him.

It is very light, and its design comes in an attractive style, which attracts professional, home users, and students alike. When i compared the Nec versus the panasonic, the panasonic laptop computer beat it hands down (flawlessly), but i stll appreciate its Core Duo 1.2GHz processor which persons well enough for your intended work.

I dislike the fact that it doesn't have an inbuilt optical drive, but i am sure this is what helped to keep the weight light, and makes it easy for carrying around.

My God, the 10.6 inch display isn't bad either, but i didnt like it Windows Vista operating system. From what my friend told, it is not a very common notebook, and i am sure that will also make expensive to repair if it develops a fault (bad enough for me to change my mind about it). It seems perfect, but my taste will rather go for the panasonic Toughbook 30.

I cannot compare LG versus Panasonic, because my Panasonic has never failed me in its work, it has always function to expectation. I am always impressed when i remember i have not charged it for over 7 hours, what a good battery life.

I love its ruggedity, that why i actually bought it, because i am a very careless person. It is resistant to dust, water, and it is very strong, i call it "Robocop". It uses an Intel Core Duo L2400 1.66 GHz, Centrino Duo processor, with 80GB HDD, 512MB RAM, and other features i will take about later. Whenever i want to connect to the world, i use either its WLAN, Gigabit Ethernet, or Bluetooth. You will also want to see its 13.3 inch display, with a resolution of 1024x768, which is impressive.

I should also mention that i love a laptop computer with a long term warranty, this one particularly has a 3 year warranty. I think you need to check out this integrated features such as speaker, Bluetooth antenna, and wireless LAN antenna. The comparison between the LG versus Panasonic seem unreal, because the panasonic is features-packed. I fall in love with its security chip too, which gives me a sense of safety using my Panasonic.

Running Crysis on High?

I want to run crysis on high settings mainly because i think my comp can handle it because of its beastly nature.

Your specs are very capable of running Crysis on High, except for your graphics card. A measly low/mid-range 9500GS can only get you so far in many games, especially Crysis. I recommend replacing that if you want to do better.

If you want to run the game on High with a decent, playable FPS, look at least for a 9800GTX or its ATI Radeon equivalent (4850, 3870x2, or 4870) or higher. Then your graphics card will be up to speed with the rest of your high-performing components.
