They are not the only processors in the market and may not have always been the market leader particularly considering the performance of its rival AMD Athlon. Yes, there have been several times when the rival has been able to launch a product that outperformed Intel's, but, Intel has always managed to climb back. Therefore, due to the integrity, reliability and effectiveness of its main product - the processor - Intel has earned a brand name synonymous with everything that is computers.

What is the Intel equivalent of the AMD Athlon Dual Core QL-62 2.0 GHz CPU?

I just got a brand new laptop with this processor in it, and I have an MMORPG downloaded that says to have, at minimum, a Pentium 4 3.0 GHz processor or an equivalent, but the game runs exceptionally well on my current 2 GHz, so it got me wondering what the closest Intel product is to my AMD. Please include both Dual Core and Single Core processors. Thanks for your help!

I guess that a Dual Core Intel with about 1.8 GHz.Games require less frequency from Intel processors than AMD processors because of the different ways of data transfer.
