Abstract :- "A mobile cell phone generating EM waves causes a lot of physiological, biological, histological and some occasional degenerative effects on human organs and so it breeds traffic accident if used during driving. However, a particular frequency of 434 MHz per second is found to be suitable for radio therapy of cancer cells. A report of such effects is described here with some remedial measures. "

Introduction :- A Mobile cell phone works on the principle of EM wireless waves communication which is actually the propagation of energy of electromagnetic radiation created by oscillating charges or particles (called photons) in transverse mode. Such cell phone uses micro-waves of very shorter wave lengths corresponding to very high frequency ranging up to 10 GHz per second and carries enough energy to effect human organs as found by several researchers.

Effect Analysis :- Electromagnetic energy can be classified into two types  :         (i) Ionising and (ii) Non- ionising, depending upon the frequency-range with reference to ultraviolet limit. Frequency below the ultra-violet band are non-ionising and our cell phones generates such frequencies of electromagnetic radiations. The only physiological effect found on human body is 'heating' due to absorption of the radio frequency energy by the water content in our blood. The magnitude of the absorption or the heating depends upon the type of tissues carrying blood and frequency of the incident waves. As found further by NOISH lab. of U.S.A. the human body is transparent below the frequency of 1 GHz per second and if the frequency is increased above a process of scattering starts and if it is increased further our body starts reflecting visible light radiations of frequency up to 103 GHz. Out of these frequencies Dr. Holt (1) found a specific frequency of 434 MHz per second  of the radiations having non-thermal effect on tissues and recommended it suitable for radio therapy of cancer cells whose effect increases cell-divisions by changing the electrochemistry therapy resulting in starvation of cancer cells of energy. Beside the heating effect, Alasks Science Forum(2), U.S.A 1980 revealed that the human head start resonating at its resonant frequency which has been found as 350-400 MHz per second for adults and 600-850 MHz per second for minors (varying from person to person) by absorbing maximum electromagnetic energy resulting in affecting the overall mental processes. Further researchers of Obero University(3), Sweden, 2003 found that use of mobile phone for about an hour per day increases the probability of developing brain tumor by 30%.

Some possible biological effect of mobile phone waves on human organs having close distance from mobile tower or phone with higher power density can be well classified according to different finding, as :-

Below EM energy of 10 miliwatts per square metre Tolgskays et al (16), 1974 found no gross morphological changes and only occasional degenerative effect of radio waves on human organs,. However, a decrease in ribonucle-protein in tissue elements (normally rich in animals) was found.

Remedial Measures :- World largest cell phone manufacturers(17) patenting different devices to reduce the risk of brain tumors and other diseases by using "The Talk safe Mobile Protection Chip. " Different countries are setting guidelines for the RRPG level (18), (i.e. strength or radio waves with no adverse effect on human body) for cell phone manufacturers. The level has been set to be less than 20 miliwatts per square metre. Such radio equipments must make their SAR (i.e. absorbed energy in any 10 grams of tissue over 6 minutes period) value below 2W/kg. These are the reports of Telecommunications Technology Council, U.A.S. 2000. Further, the mobile tower should be built out of localities in remote areas to minimise the several aforesaid biological effects on human organs and the mobile phone should be used for short duration and only if it is very necessary. Further, person driving motorcycles/cars must not talk on mobile phone as it breeds traffic accident due to diversion of mental attention owing to the aforesaid effects. Even use of latest hands free mobile cell phones are found equally risky & dangerous whilst used in driving, as reported by Washington Post (19). Hence talking on any type of mobile phones must be banned completely for drivers.   But persons using mobile phones these days do not opt any precautionary measures and hence invite diseases and accidents. So the aforesaid suggestions should be made mandatory for our safety.

My computer started running very slow, but it is normally a fast computer?

I have a 3 Ghz processor, 1 gig of ram, and a 160gig +a 80gig both of which are realitivly empty.

yep, do a defragment, but it is mainly to decrease the start-up time of ur pc. I'd recommend to get TuneUp Utilities 2008 and do a "1 click-maintenance" with that, and it will fix a lot of mistakes in ur computer, including errors in the registry, that cause ur computer to slow down. Also, scan your computer with a free online scanner, I'd recommend the kaspersky online scanner for viruses and spyware, as they can slow it down, too. After having done this, check the results. If you don't notice a big difference, then all you are left to do is to reinstall windows, and don't delete your files. This is what i do(reinstall windows xp once a month) to keep my computer fresh, and it never gets slow, also I don't lose any of my files and programs. Hope this helps.
