How can i Dual Boot with Vista and Windows 7 on separate HDD's?

I have Windows Vista on a SATA disk (my main OS), and i just installed Windows 7 on a IDE disc i found. However Windows 7 seems to have taken over, and i have to unplug the IDE disc (win7) to start Vista (Sata). how can i have both disc's connected, and have Vista the C:/ drive and auto boot, but be able to choose windows 7 in boot menu?

I don't think you can have more than one master hard disk at once ..

Operation systems should be booted from a a master hard disk and you can't have more than one master hard disk ..

So i think your only option is to install both systems on the same hard drive and use the " Settings and Files Transfer Wizard " transfer your current settings to your newly installed system ..
