My G3 iBook's logic board failed,128mb-700mhz-20ghard drive, should I sell on ebay or can I cheaply fix it

I wouldn't have it fixed by someone, b/c I was qouted $800.
I would fix it myself if it was worth it, where do you get reliable parts? How much? Are all of these G3 logic board doomed to fail in the near furture anyway?
If I sold it as is how much could I get? It has a good hard drive, combo dvd/cdrw drive, no airport, no extra memory, no battery or charger.
