Help identifying inverter or lcd backlight problem for laptop?

i need help to identify whether my problem is either the inverter circuit board or an lcd backlight problem for my laptop. i have a toshiba a105-s4074 and when i boot it the screen is pink for about 5 seconds then turns into complete darkness. there is still an image if i hold up a bright light and the screen will turn on if i close and open the lid but again only for about 5 seconds or so till it goes into darkness.

sounds like a inverter. If you buy one just make sure you can return it if it doesn't work. Should only be about 60 bucks if you put it in yourself. good luck
