Can I install Tiger's iLife on macbook Leopard OS?
I recently got my hard disk repaired and they installed leopard on it, i had tiger, is it possible to install iLife from my tiger install disc? What can i do about it? i miss iPhoto n garage band!
I'm fairly sure that you can't. The install discs themselves don't have iLife on them, but they generally give you a set of iLife install discs when you buy a Mac. Macs running Tiger came with iLife '06, which (as far as I know) only works in Panther and Tiger. The new Macs running Leopard come with iLife '08, which will work in Tiger or Leopard. They kind of screwed you on this one, and whoever repaired your hard drive shouldn't have upgraded your OS without getting your approval first, or at least upgrading you to iLife '08.
I would say go back and complain about it. If they refuse to do anything about it, you have two choices: spend $80 on iLife '08, or download it from a torrent site.
