i want to put my music on my mac desktop but be able to listen to it on my mac laptop, is this possible?

Buy a ethernet crossover cable (usually yellow) plug in your macs via ethernet, go to systems preferences, "network" turn on file sharing and drag your "music, iTunes folder over to the other mac and then drag it onto the the open itunes program in the dock.

Or buy a external HD or fat memory stick and drag your iTunes folder onto it and then plug it into the other mac and drag it into the open iTunes program.

It's so simple I spent more time typing then it would take you.
