Why doesnt the isight on my macbook let me play flash games?

There are internet games rather like the EyeToy where all you need is a webcam to play. I have isight built into my macbook, but when i load the game and click, 'allow' nothing happens. The green light on the isight doesn't flare to life, why? Is isight just for pictures and Imovie? I'm confused!

Check your flash settings for games to make sure applications can use your webcam for use. If they aren't allowed to by your settings, then you won't be able to use the webcam.
