Another great place to shop for Maxed Ram products is Amazon. They have more than just books! Laptops & Notebooks, Asus, ASUS NB EN 15.6INCH G74SX-3DE I7-2630QM 1.5TB 12G, G74SX-3DE The T60 1951 type comes standard with an Intel Core Duo processor, providing dual core computing in a mobile PC.
With an extra half gig of RAM, this machine is actually better than advertised (in previous page), and the HD is a standard 60 GB, 20 GB more than found in its predecessors... Here are some more information for Maxed Ram: The Dell XPS M1710 is the latest premium gaming notebook from Dell that replaces the current XPS M170. The M1710 has a 17" widescreen and comes in a choice of two colors, "formula red" or "metallic black". On the inside it houses the 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo processor, up to 4GB of RAM and the icing on the cake -- the latest and greatest nVidia Go 7900 GTX graphics card with 512MB of memory. Dell has really put a lot of attention into the design, marketing, and support for this product and it shows! It has the best graphics performance of a laptop I've seen to date (and better than most desktops) and to think you can get your XPS M1710 configured with GPU that's faster. As if the performance weren't enough, the little visual tweaks and customizable LEDs really set it apart from everyone else. The dedicated XPS support line and the specially trained technician’s means that your back is covered if you ever need help. The price tag may scare some of you away, but when you compare it to the competition in the market, it's actually very good value for the performance and functionality. The Dell XPS M1710 Metallic Black Armor laptop truly is the closest thing a performance user has to a desktop replacement. The 17-inch TrueLife display has the same 1920 x 1200-pixel resolution as the XPS M170, but it's noticeably brighter. With the processing power available, that means incredibly detailed gaming performance with huge frame rates. The display is also excellent for viewing movies and TV. No built-in TV tuner is present, but an optional external TV tuner and remote costs $130. Dell has gone with an integrated subwoofer to complement the two front-mounted speakers. The result is a meatier sound than most notebooks offer. The XPS M1710 includes a full-size keyboard, though it lacks a separate number pad, as found on some other desktop replacements, such as the Satellite P105-S921, the HP Pavilion dv8000, and the Toshiba Qosmio G35-AV600. The XPS M1710's mouse buttons are very big, however, and the touch pad, which features a backlit XPS logo, is adequately sized. The touch pad also has arrows running along its right and bottom edges, outlining where to place your finger when using the software-enhanced pad to scroll through documents or Web pages. For an operating system, the M1710 runs Windows XP Media Center 2005 Edition, which boasts features to organize and play all your photos, videos, and music. Unfortunately, the system lacks a TV tuner. You can, however, purchase an external USB tuner separately. For a more AV-centric laptop, check out my review of the Toshiba Qosmio G35-AV600, which has an integrated TV tuner and a slew of ports. Add to all that the XPS M1710's solid build and feel, the attractive lid and 16 multi-colored LEDs along the sides and you got yourself one very cool looking, quite running, high performing premium gaming notebook like no other.
