She has a strong New York accent. Basically she is a housewife and teach others piano sometimes at home.

Meg Griffin: Peter and Lois's daughter, a average-looking girl. She is often mocked at by her peers. She's not popular at school and usually she's forgotten at home. Called "Black Sheep" and born in a "abnormal" family, Meg likes chattering.

Chris Griffin: Peter's 13-year-old or 14-year-old son. Like his father, Chris is a overweight and stupid boy. Her often denies his fatness with his subconciousness. He is the young Peter in many cases.

Stewie Griffin: Peter and Lois's little son, a Satan baby boy. He makes many jokes in the series. He has vague sexual orientation and adult's affectation. Stewie has British upper-class accent and he is used to using rarely used words. In the previous episodes, he always tries to murder his mother by all means but he was treated as a baby who does not his ways around. Stewie has a wardrobe hiding hundreds of deadly weapons and an American football (his head). His classical funny parts are Where's My Money and his various kinds of addresses for Lois --- Lois, mama, mum, mummy...

Brian Griffin: a higly personified family pet dog, little different from human. He was first to be a stray dog to meet Peter on the sidewalk. Brian walks with two legs, drinks martini,  smokes cigars and talks with people. However, he is treated as a pet dog in many aspects.

In Family Guy, how come they started to hate Meg???

In the first few series of Family Guy, they liked Meg... I know, i forgot too but when i got the DVD of season one it was kinda unsettling that they didn't hate her like they do now...

but it drives me insane considering when my brothers make fun of me now they call me meg.
