How do I increase my start up time on Vista? I just loaded 4GB of 800 Mhz memory & it doesnt seem any faster.?

My motherboard can perform at 800 Mhz for memory. I dont have a lotta programs starting up when my PC boots up.

you mean decrease your startup time right? well one way you can do it is to go to "run" type in msconfig click on the boot tab, click advanced options, check the "number of processors" box and change it to 2 and click the other box that says max memory and change it to 2048. That gives your computer a extra kick at startup!
