Another great place to shop for Monitor Extras products is Amazon. They have more than just books! Here are some more information for Monitor Extras: There are plenty of places on the Internet for the budget conscious individual to buy one of the cheap flat panel monitors. Personally I prefer to check out the cheap and secondhand market to obtain a cheap flat-panel monitor. I have two different sources for getting a good cheap computer monitor, and both of them have different benefits to offer. This article will give you the pros and cons that both offer in order for you to obtain the monitor you want. The best place to find a cheap flat panel monitor one of the first places I go to find a flat panel monitor is the popular auction site eBay. There will generally have a good collection of refurbished and new monitors to select from. It's always good to be cautious when choosing a monitor, and make sure what extras are included with your purchase Make sure that your purchase comes with a flat-panel monitor stand by making sure its on the description list. This is a good website, because you can bid up to a price that you set your limit to. By taking your time you should eventually be able to get the product you won't as a reasonable price. It's always a good idea to research the price of the flat-panel monitor you are looking for, and sticking to the models you are familiar with. The second-place to try is Ubid, because they only sell used and refurbished monitors You can also purchase extended warranties on all products on offer on their site, this means you can really protect your purchase. I would definitely recommend going with the extended warranty, because you can never guarantee the quality of a used or refurbished item. Craig's list is the last place to go looking for a good cheap flat panel monitor. You really have to use this website, cautiously, however, it does have an advantage over eBay, and Ubid, in that you can see the item before you buy it.

Getting the Best Cheap Flat Panel Monitor on the Market
I have successfully used this website on many occasions to purchase items I was looking for, this includes a cheap flat panel monitor, unfortunately if there is a problem with the product you are not covered by a warranty. I would say the biggest plus factors for using Craig's list is you can see the items and you can buy them at the cheapest possible prices There are no shipping costs on the website, so you're left to negotiate this with the seller.

I want to use my LCD TV as an extra monitor, how do I set a custom resolution?
Basically my wife and I like to watch movies from my laptop as well as just use it for another monitor. Problem is, the TVs resolution is 1080 and the closest I can get is 1024. Is there a way to set a custom resolution or a program that can do it for me?
My card is an ATI Radeon Xpress 1100
What connection are you using?
Hopefully you are not using some piece-of-crap low-definition connection like S-video, which is restricted to low resolutions only.
If you have an 1080p HDTV and you want to get your computer to display 1080p (which is 1920x1080 resolution), you need to be using a connection capable of high-definition, like VGA or (even better) digital DVI/HDMI.
My computer's graphics card has a DVI port. It's connected to my 1080p HDTV using a DVI-to-HDMI cable, and it works perfectly at 1080p. Check it out: http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f347/armchairaviator/computer/IMG_0880c.jpg
Andra Bryan Stefanoni: City projects shine under cloudy skies
PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg’s spring break has so far been, in a word, gray, but one need only enter the Beverly Corcoran Art Gallery at Memorial Auditorium & Convention Center, 503 N. Pine St., to see a rainbow of color.
