GREAT MEN FOLLOW THEIR IDENTITY AND DESTINY

Very old and wise philosophers used to say that by studying history you can imagine the future as history repeats it’s self. This applies to the simplest human action, up to the most complex like organizing a nation or a country. No matter, how much had Alexander the Great studied history, he could not imagine that his name would be used to harm his nation and country. Based on his greatness he would certainly assure his origin, even if he had to write it down all the way while he traveled. He was a personality that he did not just live history, he made history.

Human beings as they live through the ages, their names are insignificant, but the greatness of some people mark history and add some greatness to human specie. The rest of the world is fond of resembling them and like to pay them some respect as the years go by. The scary part is when some of them try to steal identities as the years go by, depending on the luck of knowledge for its nation’s history. If Alexander the Great wanted to be known as “Macedonian†and not Greek, through history, based again on his greatness, he would say so, or even demand so. Give him some more credit than FYROM gives him. He accomplished amazing achievements that even today are difficult to repeat, but he missed to clarify that he was not exactly Greek? He did not speak of something that he was just too sure and he did not have to explain. Alexander the Great was Greek.

The opposite opinion about his origin is based on the parts that Greece was divided at that time, which is totally incorrect as all countries had divisions and smaller parts for their better organization; this does not mean that they were speaking of totally different countries. All those different areas were independent, but still parts of Greece.

Another view is based on the fact that FYROM uses the name of Alexander the Great just to open a way to Greece’s economy and gain some of Greece’s land. It   really resembles great scenario where the rich grandfather-Alexander the Great, dies and after a while too many grandsons claim his fortune by any mean. But his fortune belongs to history where all great men belong and it is a blasphemy to try to steal it.

But, the most terrifying is that the world is not reacting to this madness. What Egypt would say if someone found a secret origin of Pharaoh Ramses II that belonged to another country and that country claimed profits from Ramses II? What about the Napoleon I of France, if they made a story that while he traveled to another country, he had a secret marriage with children, would this be enough to give them a cut of its fame or legacy? Would you give them anything they claimed? Isn’t it frightening to try to defend your belongings by twisted stories?

So, what if that nation depends on false news and their own kind of  history, so what if they rose many generations with a lie, so what if they move fast and use the name “Macedonia†without the approval of Greece for too many years, this gives them the right to go on without any disturbance?

If the world gives so easily what a nation demands without proofs and when it is obvious that  political and financial causes are hidden and move the “gameâ€, then what the future will be for the years to come? All civilizations will have no support while facing strong political alliances with only target the profit.

The saddest of all, is that the world does not know who will be the next victim. Egypt’s Pharaoh Ramses II, France’s Napoleon I, Russia’s Ivan the Great? Who knows…everything is on sale when the world is not responding and forgets. But be careful, your turn might be next and be ready to loose your identity, as none will be by your side. Be quick and hide your heroes and legendary personalities.

If u consider that Yahoo! Answers is a great way to slove queries then please star my question.

It is OK to get answers to some things like trivia questions or if you want to poll people. What I do find funny is how so many people who classify themselves as computer experts don't know how to use a search engine. You put something like Miley Cyrus in a box and you could probably know more about her than her own family does. I do not think it is a good place to seek advice on medical, legal, or personal problems. More harm than good comes from following the advice of lay people. Seek the advice of professionals.
I think the point system and the unfair system of justice ruin this site. I would like to see the point system done away with as it is the root of most the problems. Some members of the Community have a "win at all costs" mentality and will give inaccurate or smart aleck answers to get two points. Also in the name of points, users will create multiple accounts to vote and report other users.
The Homework Help category is also useless because some users don't help they do homework for other users fostering laziness. It is obvious from the wording of many of these questions that they are questions at the end of a chapter and if the student would read the chapter he or she would find the answers. Think about this the next time you are in a store and young clerk cannot tell you how much you will have to pay for four pads of paper if it is 15 cents of pad or if he or she cannot give you the correct change from a $20.00 bill.
