Yes, we definitely need to go through a hard recovery period. The economy needs to adjust itself to the American reality and not be propped up by this bail out. The economic practices this county has implemented from Reagan to this point have caused our problems.

We are now the consumer society and not the producers. We worry more about the global economy that our domestic economy. Look at the world's markets. They revolve around ours. Take care of our problems and everyone else follows. Quit catering to Wall Street, the big Banks and the global economy.

Fix the problem within our borders and become self sufficient again. Make others like China, Mexico etc... play on an even playing field. The tax and tariff our goods to make their markets competitive so why not return the favor. We forgive everybody the owes us as a country. Well it's time for them to return the favor.

Finally, Quit spending the tax payer's money foolishly. Tighten your belts and cut the fat out of our budget. Spend less than you bring in and start rebuilding this economy. We as citzens need to do the same. Make the financial institutions and bad investors be accountable for the debts. We as taxpayers have our own to deal with. Nobody is bailing me out. I pay one month at a time until the debt is gone. Simple principle that make sense. It will take a while to get steady on our feet again but we will be stronger and better off in the long run.

Pray for our leaders in Washington. They need to rise above the partisan poltics and do what is right for this country. Not what's easiest.
