Here are some more information for Parts Almost:

Wow thanks for tha info, now say I want to do it from almost scratch, can I buy a tower with the main parts?
Like with all the main components already there and go from that, cause $3000 is waaaay over my budget right now. What's a good inexpensive all ready made computer, kinda gamer, under $1600 that I can get if I don't build one? thx Yall.
Hello, by the sounds of it, you are asking for some sort of gaming bare-bones computer, where you are supplied the main parts, and you specify other parts. In a typical bare-bones computer, it is up to you to choose the graphics card, RAM, Hard Drive, Processor and other add-in cards.
However the real fun begins when you build a computer for scratch.
I'd use an AMD Phenom II X4 and a socket AM2+ Motherboard with a 790FX Chipset, supporting the new Phenom IIs and 4GB DDR2 RAM, running at 1066MHz with a CAS5 Latency. DDR3s in my opinion, have too slow latencies to be useful. Maybe you would find it useful to buy an AM3 CPU and Motherboard and use DDR2 for now, and when the technology is viable, use DDR3.
As for Graphics Cards, I would have a Radeon 4870X2, which can be upgraded in the future by putting another in, and running them in Crossfire Configuration. This would also complete the Dragon Gaming Platform.
Hard Drives are indeed a matter of taste- I'd go with a 300GB 10,000RPM Velociraptor Hard Drive; perfect for gaming and very fast indeed. I would also get a 1TB Seagate Hard Drive, with 32MB Cache.
ASUS sound cards are the best on the market, if you've got a 64-bit operating system. Creative have a reputation for not making good drivers for Vista 64Bit. I'd go with the Xonar D1, 7.1 Card, which is a lot better than onboard sound, especially for gaming.
I'm not going to post Cases, as it is a matter of personal preference. But I seem to like the ones for coolermaster. Just make sure you buy one big enough for your graphics card and stuff.
Corsair make pretty mean memory. And Power Supplies. Their stuff is quality. The Dominator series, well...dominates.
I'd also get a blu ray burner; though that's more for the future.
Don't forget to add in the cost of any extras that you will like, such as the operating system, keyboard, mouse, monitor, optical drives, etc etc.
Newegg, with its special Mail in rebates, is very good, if you live in the states.
This makes me want to cry, as I live in the UK, and can get no newegg
