Should I buy this Video Editing machine?

It's one year old, a friend of a friend wants to sell for a decent price. But is the machine good enough? I will be editing a full television episode every month, (storage is fine, as I have plenty of externals.) Also, are there any other questions I should ask?

it really depends on the editing suite your running on it. Back when we used Radius Video Vision on a quadra 950, full res, Full screen and it handled it well. We did this in 2 hour blocks. We were able to produce just fine. today's machine is WAY faster, and since your using a 'dual" the flow through is going to blow you away. You might look into a Video card with more RAM on it IF they make one. We always maxed out our ram on work stations too. Since this is where your live edits will be sitting.
