The ages 6-12 are a time of steady growth; good nutrition is a high priority. Children must know that what they eat affects how they grow.

• Gives No Energy: Junk food doesn’t give you adequate energy as it doesn’t contain any nutrients that are beneficial to the human body and is not easy to digest. Some foods are filled with harmful colors, carbohydrates, fats and cholesterol that do not provide much useful energy.
• Obesity Risk: Junk food is a major cause for childhood obesity which can be observed today. If children don’t get junk food they fall prey to mood swings, this in turn is harmful for their physical and mental health.
• Various Diseases: Osteoporosis and Hypertension are other diseases that appear to have their earliest roots in childhood when lifelong eating habits are being formed. Poor diets can slow growth, cause decay in new teeth and sow the seeds of ill-health and devastating diseases that make life insufferable.

Junk food is making children so crazy about them that they want to have it all the time.Now a days when a child comes home after school he doesn’t need dosa and upma, he instead needs wafers or a packet of Kurkure or Chitoos which he can munch while enjoying the idiot box. it is advisable for parents to not give junk food like samosas, vada pav , burger, coke etc. when children come home from school. Giving children these foods once in while is fine but if they consume them on regular bases they will be the cause of various health issues.

Mac Bootcamp--Increase Windows HD?

I recently installed Bootcamp on my new Macbook Pro and allocated 5GB of the hard drive for windows. When I finished installing I saw that there is actually only a little over 2 GB of free space. Is there any way to increase the allocated memory to Windows without having to install it again? What would be a good amount of memory if I want to install a couple of games on Windows (First Person Shooter Games--Call of Duty 2, FEAR, Prey...). If I had 5 GB of available space, would that be enough? Also, how much memory does Microsoft Office take on Windows?

There are some way to increase the space of windows partition (reduce the MAC partition, of course). However, third party software will be required and this third party software is not free.
