Food Processor Recipes for Pasta Sauce and Dips

I love good food but I am a very busy person… like most of us, and have little time to really prepare a good meal.  I love food processor or blender recipes because they tend to be super quick to prepare.  I got myself one of those Magic Bullet blenders and use it to make lots of great, simple and delicious food.  Below are some of my favorite recipes.

Pesto and Spinach Sauce

12 fresh basil leaves
Small bunch of spinach
2 tablespoons pine nuts
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves
Pinch of salt
Parmesan cheese

Place everything in food processor and blend until it makes a grainy paste.  From there heat on stove and use on your favorite pasta dish.

Easy Alfredo Sauce

¼ cup double heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
2 garlic cloves
½ cup parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley
Salt and pepper

Place everything in food processor and blend until smooth.  Heat on stove until ready to serve.  This recipe is rich but absolutely delicious.

Bean Dip

1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained
¼ cup white onion
2 garlic cloves
¼ cup red pepper
¼ cup chicken or veggie broth
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Cayenne pepper to taste

Place all ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth.  This recipe can be frozen and eaten at a late date if desired as well.

Lemon, Garlic, Chickpea Dip

1 (15 ounce) can chick peas, drained
1-2 cloves garlic
1 lemon – juiced
4 sprigs fresh thyme leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
Hot sauce to taste

Put all ingredients in the food processor and blend until smooth.  This yummy dip will leave you smelling like garlic but will taste absolutely delicious.

The two pasta sauces and the two dip recipes can all easily be made in the blender or food processor with little fuss and mess.  The only real cleaning that will need to be done is the food processor and hopefully there are others around to do that job.  Each of these recipes will leave you with garlic breath but hopefully everyone will be eating the same thing so it won’t matter.  Besides garlic is good for us.

My Dell Dimension E310 started crashing suddenly from one day to another super super bad, what can i do??

I had my computer for one year now, and it has never done this before, i just restarted it and it started crashing as soon as windows iniciates, the only thing i can open is my documents and like if i open messenger it wont let me sign in, it just crashes msn, then if i open windows media as soon as i try to open a video or music it crashes again, i cant do ANYTHING, its super exasperating and i can not format it, i am running on safe mode right now, is the only way i can connect to the internet, i already run a virus check but nothing worked, my pc used to be super fast it has a good processor and 1gb of ram, but i can not find anything that will take it back to normal, if anyone know anything i would appreciate it a lot

Follow these steps if you never do any computer maintenance.
- run Disk Cleanup - from the System Tools section of Accessories
- Open My Computer, then Right Click on your C drive and pick PROPERTIES. Pick the Tools section and click on CHECK NOW. Check both tests, and YES, let it run after you restart. You see, CHECK DISK will ensure that your hard drive is working completely. This test might take an hour or so.
- run DEFRAG - from the System Tools section of Accessories.

Keep your anti-virus solution up to date, and run a full scan weekly.

Keep your anti-spyware solution up to date, and run a full scan every few days. I recommend the free SpyBot Search & Destroy that you can get from http://www.download.com

Do all of this regularly, and your computer will run better.
