Support will be needed to run Shader Model 3 for video work and Vista and XP SP2 users will need to have a 2GHz processor or better to do video work involving HD formatting.

Adobe After Effects Ram Preview?

When I press the Ram Preview Button, the thing will only render 2 seconds and then stop. Is there anyway I could fix this?
P.S. Don't say I need more RAM or a better processor, it just started to happen recently.

I have this happen on my computer at home which is a dual quad xeon / 8GB ram, I'm running XP X64 and when I get the issue you're describing I generally just save and restart After Effects. I also work on new macs with similar specs as my computer as well as older macs with dual core xeons. It seems to happen irrelevant to the OS or computer specs, old or new doesn't matter. You could try deleting your After Effects prefs file or reinstalling, but I have a feeling it may just be an issue with After Effects. Hopefully this won't happen anymore with CS4...
