Does anybody know a cheaper and legit repair service other than Sony where I could ship my ps3 for repair?

I am a college student so money is tighter than ever, I tried to fix it myself with repair guide but it's deeper than blinking light or blank screen, it needs to be professionally fixed. But Sony is $150, if there are no alternatives I would gladly use it, just wanted t hear other opinions.

Your warranty is probably void because you opened it yourself. Sony is really the only qualified place to have it repaired.

Don't worry because here is what you do:

1)Go to Wal-Mart (Only Wal-Mart, not Target or bestbuy but ONLY Wal-Mart) and buy a PS3. Make sure it is the EXACT model as yours.

2)Clean your PS3 and make it look brand new.

3)Take the new PS3 from out of the box and replace it with your old, broken, PS3.

4)Go back to Wal-Mart and return the PS3. Tell them that you just don't want it because you are going to order an xbox360 off the internet and that you haven't used it. (If they ask)

5)Get your cash back and it will have cost you $0.00

My friend has done with twice with his XBOX360 when it stopped working and he never had a problem.

Also, to you people that don't approve of what I said, then F*ck you, I really don't care. If you have a moral problem with it then don't do it, but don't judge me because I don't give a sh*t what you think.
