I have an Acer Aspire 5315 that won't boot up. How can I manually restore it without restore disks?

As I was shutting the computer down, it started going through the automatic updates.During the updates, my computer's battery died and now I cannot get my computer to boot up. I've tried to boot it up in safe mode and everything, but it always just restarts itself. What can I do?
