How to rip DVD movies and put DVD on iPod touch, iPod nano, iPod classic on Mac OS X

Step 1: Add DVD Movie

Click the “Load DVD” button, find the DVD folder of the movie you want to add from your hard disc or DVD-ROM, open your DVD folder, select the VIDEO_TS folder and click OK.

Or, click the “Load IFO” button, find the DVD folder of the movie you want to add from your hard disc or DVD-ROM, open your DVD folder, open the VIDEO_TS folder, select all IFO files and click “OK“.

Step 2: Output Settings

On the left side of the main window, you can name the output file for the selected title/chapter, select a subtitle to put on your movie, and select an audio track.

At the bottom of the window, select an output format like MP4, M4V and MP3, and then click the “Settings” button to set the video and audio encoding settings and select a directory folder to save the output files.

Format: This software supports iPod touch, iPod classic, and iPod nano, iPod shuffle. Plus, it also supports conversion for iPhone, Apple TV and PSP, so you can select a proper output format according to the name of your device conveniently in default output format list.

If you want to convert all chapters or titles to iPod in one output file, you can check the “Merge into one file” option.

Step 3: Start Conversion

After setting the output settings, you can just click the “Convert” button to start converting your Movie. You can choose to shut down your computer automatically after conversion if you don’t want to wait around during conversion.

Step 4: Put your DVD movies on your iPod or iPhone

Connect your iPod or iPhone to Mac and start iTunes. Find the converted movie and sync it to your iPod or iPhone. That’s it. Now you can enjoy your movies on your iPod breezily!

iMac G4 vs Powermac G4 which is the better machine? Please HELP!?

Hi I just found an iMac G4 for $300 and a PowerMac G4 for $175 without a monitor. Which one is the better machine to buy?

well siriously the power mac G4 is way better beacue it has 1.5 GB of RAM and the Imac G4 has only .5 GB of RAM. ALso the power mac has 120 GB of RAM and the other IMac has only 80 GB of RAM. The power mac had a dvd drive and the Imac doesnt also the Power mac has good 800 Mhz with G4 prossecor power even thought the power mac dont have the monitor im sure you can buy one for $15 through $50 dollars and have a really good mac instead of the Imac that will be really slow.

So my advice to you would be to buy the power mac then buy any used montior because then later you could update to leopard or snow leopard which is apples newest operating systems and the power mac cold surley run it wihout a problme when the Imac probably could but would be lagging alot.
