Is this cost effective?

I'm running on a pretty old intel mobo (6-7 years old) that's obviously outdated. It has primarily AGP slots, it might have 1-2 pci but I doubt it.

this should be able to play just about anything on high settings
it would be a good idea to double the ram for $20 more and for $40 more you can get the motherboard that can use 2 videocards. i dont think i forgot anything, except maybe a power supply, but you said you have one right? oh yeah, you still need a keyboard and mouse.
