I can't afford to replace but am willing to tinker.

1. Unplug it.
2. Tip it on the side to see if anything drains out (want to get out as much moisture as possible).

3. Wait at least 24 hours before plugging it back in and trying to turn it on.

Depending on what and how much you spilled on it, it may have just become a paper weight. --Sorry
