Here are some more information for Deffective Repair: Just got an Xbox 360 back from repair center,and it had rrod when i cut it on...? It does actually cut on,and its been running now for the past two hours. I played rock band when i cut it on,and at the end of the song the xbox cut off,and rrod flashed.. Dont know why. This 360 is very quiet,and sounds like there is something loose n it. Anyway i called the the xbox repair center,and will be getting my 4th xbox 360...all three got rrod. This one does work,but wanna send it in to get a non deffective one. If i play on xbox live though will they cancel the repair or something?? If this has happend to anyone please contact me.
No they won't cancel the repair. My disc drive is messing up so I've been playing Arcade games until I can ship it and my repair order is still active. The person who says they'll send it back to you if it doesn't show the RRoD when they get it is wrong. They can look inside of the 360 and see that it did red ring. That happened to my first one and the support people told me so. Thanks for visiting!
