How to fit SAMSUNG E700 mobile phone flexi ribbon cable?

My flip phone mobile screen has gone white, I dont think the screen is faulty as it works okay if the phone is open about 1cm. After a bit of research, I think I may need to fit new ribbon cable but how? thanks!

it does sound as if the ribbon has snapped. i have read that it is tricky to do yourself but im sure taking it to a phone repair shop wont be that expensive compared to having to buy a new phone.
