Looking for information on engineering, and constructing a full frame to fit under a 70 Mercury. It's the only way to save the car.

Good Luck ! You are trying to do something that isn't ment to be done. If you put a frame under the car it will take away to much ground clearance and you will bottom out on every rock in the road. the only way to do it would be to channel the body to accept the frame up inside the body of the car . By the time you do it and have a custom frame installed you could of bought two other good used cars...........Why do you need to put a frame in the car any way? E mail me if you would.
