Here are some more information for Xserve Lot:

Server i need over 1,000,000 user a day apple or hp?......?

I am planing to create a website that has streaming media communication back & forth to users & games & more. What would be the best most reliable server i need & would a very fast processor with a lot of hard drive space be needed. I've looked at apples xserve & hp servers. apple has to servers while hp servers come in so many different operating systems i don't know how to choose. Which would be best. I know it's expensive but i don't want to buy something that can't handle what i need it for. Also for over one million users how many servers would i need for this?

I would suggest with that kind of load rent server time from an established host with multiple high speed lines and a data center. You can't support that kind of traffic on a single server.

The actual server brand is not significant. I would suggest a UNIX based system.
