How long should it take to download a 556kb zip drive on my Mac?

and what if it's taking hours and it's not supposed to? any idea what I could try instead?

it really depends on what it is video, game, movie... etc and also on your internet connection. It can be from anywhere between 30kb and 350kb on average per second (350kb/ps), since your download is only 566kb it should only take maxim of 20 seconds, should do it in like 3 or 4 seconds though.

By the way if you are planning on asking why it is doing this or how you can fix it, you can fix it by reloading the download or if you have mozilla firefox as your internet, go to the download pop up, stop the download and then restart it that way.

ps i don't really know why your computer is doing that because i would have to see it to work it out .
